How many tables do I need?
Divide your guest number by the number of people your chosen table seats, then round up to a whole table. Where a table seats a range of people, use the lower figure.
Tables, chairs & thoughtful planning
Work out how many pieces you need, then try a layout that brings everyone together.
01 / Plan the numbers
Start with your guest count. We use the lower end of each product’s published seating range, then show the item rental estimate.
Your starting list
50 guests ÷ 10 per table = 5 tables. 1 chair per guest = 50 chairs.
Matching products already in your quote will use these quantities. Our team confirms event-date availability and the final quote.
02 / Shape the space
Set out tables on a one-foot grid. Join them in rows or shapes, choose chairs or benches, and see how many seats fit before you request a quote.
Enable JavaScript to use the interactive tools, or browse the rental collection to choose your pieces.
Tap a table to select, then drag to move. Drop within a foot of another table to snap into place. With a table selected, arrow keys move it one foot, R rotates, B changes seating, and Delete removes it. Tables cannot overlap or leave the room.

Item rates are per day. Delivery, setup and breakdown are quoted separately. Your date and final layout need confirmation.

Each table has evenly spaced places along both long sides and one at each short end. A place counts when an 18-inch chair strip outside that edge touches no other table. Joined ends lose their end chairs, and chairs from separate tables cannot overlap. A joining table’s chairs take priority at a T-shaped corner. Tables need three feet between them to seat both sides of a gap. Benches fill uninterrupted available side runs and may overhang by up to six inches at either end, provided they do not touch tables or another bench. We use the lower published seat count for a range. Room walls do not remove seats, so leave circulation space yourself. This is a planning estimate; our team confirms the final layout.
A little help with the details
Divide your guest number by the number of people your chosen table seats, then round up to a whole table. Where a table seats a range of people, use the lower figure.
Hire one chair for each guest. For benches, divide your guest number by the number of adults one bench seats, using the count shown on the bench’s product page, and round up.
Joining tables changes the count: a row loses a seat at each joined end, and a T or U shape loses the side seats the joining table covers. The layout planner adjusts the seating as you move your tables.
Rental estimates exclude delivery and setup. Minimum order: TT$1,000 TTD delivered, or TT$650 TTD for self-collection. Our team confirms availability, final charges and whether your layout works for the venue.

Plan your eventA little clarity
Divide your guest number by the number of people your chosen table seats, shown on its product page, and round up, then hire one chair per guest, or divide by the adults one bench seats. For 30 guests, 3 French Farm Tables at $300 TTD each and 30 French Bistro Chairs at $18 TTD each cost 3 × $300 TTD + 30 × $18 TTD = $1,440 TTD per day, before delivery and set-up.
Divide your guest number by the number of people the table seats, round up, and hire one chair per guest or one bench for each set of adults it seats.
Good to know
The Eames Dining Table is 32in wide and 28in high, costs $250 TTD per day, and pairs with the Eames Chair and Eames Armchair. Ask us how many it seats in your layout when you request a quote.
The Marble Hairpin Table seats 10 when it stands on its own, on Eames Chairs: four along each side and one at each end. It is eight feet long with a white faux marble top, at $375 TTD per day. An Eames Chair is $25 TTD per day.
Some tables seat a range of people, such as 10 to 12 for the French Farm Table. We use the lower figure so the count does not fall short. At the higher figure, 100 guests at 12 per table is 8.3, which rounds up to 9 tables instead of 10.
No. The French Bistro Chair does not require a spandex chair cover, because the natural look of the wood is left on show. It is made of wood and stained steel. It is $18 TTD per day.
