How does booking with Perched work?
Every order starts as a quote request and is confirmed by our team after we check availability. The steps run in this order.
- Add the items you want to a quote request on our website. Choose how many days you need and the day you need the items from.
- We check the availability of your items. A quote does not reserve them.
- We email you an order confirmation with the final quote, the delivery fee and the 50% deposit amount, plus instructions on how to pay.
- You pay the 50% non-refundable down payment to reserve your order. The refundable $500 TTD security deposit is a separate payment: it can follow the down payment, but must be paid before your items are delivered. Once we confirm the payment, your order is processed.
- Before your event, we email you an invoice for the balance.
- You pay the balance on or before delivery. We deliver your items to your venue and collect them afterwards.
How far ahead can I book?
You can book online from 4 months before your event until 24 hours before it. For anything outside that window, call +1 (868) 395-4880 or email hello@perched.tt.
Check that the delivery dates and times on your quote are accurate and finalised at least 48 hours before delivery. Please also check your venue's delivery and pick-up times.
What do I need to have ready?
You need your contact details, event details and payment ready when you place an order.
- Billing address, phone numbers and email.
- Shipping address, on-site contact and contact phone. These are useful if the location is residential or remote.
- Event date, time and duration.
- Delivery date and time, if we are to deliver, and pick-up date and time, if we are to collect.
- A 50% down payment, or a purchase order for companies that hold an account with us, plus the $500 TTD refundable security deposit.
Does a person approve every order?
Yes. All orders require our approval once a quote request is made via the website.
We check the availability of your items first, then you receive an email confirming the final quote.
Can my company book with a purchase order?
Purchase orders are accepted only from registered companies that hold an account with Perched. Account holders can secure an order with a purchase order and pay the balance within 30 days of the event.
To ask about opening a company account, please email hello@perched.tt. If your business hires from us often, a company account comes with a billing cycle and a line of credit.
Can I view items before I book?
Yes, by appointment only. Our items are stored disassembled at our office at 90 Picton Street, Port of Spain, so they cannot be viewed on a walk-in basis. We can arrange a viewing of certain items if you want to see something specific before booking.
Give us as much notice as you can. This is not possible for our larger items that are constructed on site, such as our arches. Use our contact page to arrange a viewing, and see the rental policy for the full booking terms.
