What do delivery, set-up and collection cost?

Short answer

Perched has no fixed delivery price. Delivery and set-up are quoted for each order as a round-trip fee based on the time and location of the delivery, and the figure appears only in your quote. Normal hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and collecting it yourself lowers the minimum order from $1,000 TTD to $650 TTD.

How much does delivery cost?

What are the normal delivery and collection hours?

Normal delivery and collection hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Delivery or pick-up outside those hours incurs additional charges, such as late night or holiday charges. For pricing specific to your event, please contact us.

Can you deliver the day before my event?

Yes. Deliveries can be arranged after 4:30pm the day before your event at no extra charge.

We prefer to deliver on the day of your event and pick up the day after, whenever possible. Delivery dates do not count towards the rental price, only the days the items are actually used.

When does a collection count as an extra day?

A collection made after 12:00pm on the last day of your event is charged as an additional complete day.

Additional rental charges also apply if items cannot be returned on the dates contracted.

What do I need to tell you about access?

You must tell us about any potential delivery obstacles before delivery. Examples include:

  • driveways not accessible by a truck
  • narrow doorways
  • small elevators

We are not responsible if items cannot be loaded onto a location because of obstacles. All items must be available for collection at the place of delivery.

We strongly recommend that you, or someone you trust, is on site for delivery and pick-up.

Can I collect the items myself?

Yes. With our DIY collection service you pick up the items from our office at 90 Picton Street, Port of Spain, and return them there yourself, and the minimum order is $650 TTD instead of $1,000 TTD.

  • Payment: we ask for payment in full upfront when you collect the items.
  • Security deposit: $500 TTD per order, which covers any damages or late returns.
  • Set-up: any issues from improper set-up after a DIY collection are your responsibility.

Frequently asked questions

Does someone need to be at my venue for delivery?

It is strongly recommended that you or an entrusted person are on site for delivery and pick-up times. A contact person and phone number are useful if the location is residential or remote.

What if my venue will not store the items?

Different venues have different policies about leaving and storing rental items at their facility. Please check with your venue to confirm delivery and pickup times.

When will I see the delivery fee?

The delivery fee appears in the email confirmation we send after we check availability. It is only provided within your quote.

Can I get delivery pricing by phone?

Yes, you can call us for pricing specific to your event. Delivery pricing depends on the time and location of your event.

Who is responsible for set-up if I collect the items myself?

Any issues from improper set-up are the responsibility of the customer. This applies to self-assembly, DIY collections and movement of items following delivery.
